    Kramer, 50, suffered a gunshot wound that was described as not life-threatening. He led the Lions to the NFC Championship game in the 1991 season.

    Sad. I seem to remember reading about the depression when he was a Charger. I think. It seems awful familiar.

        That's just awful. I spoke with Erik a couple of times at TC when he was with the Chargers, & he always seemed like a really good dude. Hate to hear he has fallen on such hard times.

          I remember watching Erik Kramer start for the Chargers. He was absolutely scared out there.

          Here's another concussion story:

          Chris Borland loves the sport, but the further he steps away from the NFL, the more pointless and damaging it seems. And if his views spread, the game may never be the same.
          Prediction:
          Correct: Chargers CI fails miserably.
          Fail: Team stays in San Diego until their lease runs out in 2020. (without getting new deal done by then) .
          Sig Bet WIN: The Chargers will file for relocation on January 15.
