What was your favorite play of the first half? I especially liked that pass to the fullback.

Not as flashy, but my fave play was Ekeler knocking that Raider DB out of the game.

NO WAY did I expect we'd be ahead 21-0 at the half. I'll take it! And the defense!!! What is happening?!

I think this is the defense we were all expecting coming into this season. Our DB's look stellar, we've been getting to the QB, stopped them on 4th down, great open field tackling. A far cry from two weeks ago.

Not shocked...but boy, it takes a minute, some games, for Herbert to get that arm dialed in. The only thing that surprises me is not that the defense is playing well, but that they are playing spectacular...this is the D I thought we were gonna have all along...and we still have Joseph and Harris waiting in the infirmary.

Do see some communication errors along the oline...we can get that ironed out though...that miss by Feiler was an anomaly, I'm sure.

Best moment so far was when we got the ball back late, and I told my kid to "watch this". I think Herbie is gonna be a very good 2 minute QB...his arm talent puts all the pressure on the opposing team...it's gonna be so much fun the next decade plus, to be on the better end of those situations, instead of always sitting back and watching it happen to us!

My favorite 1st half stat:
Chargers have 2 penalties for 20 yards.

Considering how horrific the Chargers have been with penalties, that is good.

My favorite thing about the first half, by far, has been the tackling. I can't recall any of the sliding off of players to give up 4+ extra yards that I despise so much. Everyone is wrapping up and staying with the ball carrier. So good.

I am sure I frightened the neighbors at least three times, during the most complete half of football I've seen the Chargers play in over a decade.

Coach Staley was smart challenging that even if it's wrong: more time to plan. He saw something I didn't.
