I was okay with just laying on the ground. Take the ball, don't get greedy. Those are the types of plays I can live with.

I thought the Charger pass rush was good this game and brought consistent pressure.
They beat the Chiefs with Derwin playing little and no Chris Harris.

Not necessarily true. Each team should get a defensive game plan to take away their strengths.

Lynn also not in a million years goes for it on 4th down like Staley does, nor does Lynn play to win. He runs three straight times and punts,... No passes to Try and get a first down.

So needless to say, I disagree with your take. True about the additions but Staley has made big huevos decisions that Lynn huevos wouldn't try to cash.

I do agree with your overall point that Staley is showing to be even more aggressive and the former HC may have run it and then sent the FG kicker out there instead of throw for a TD.
But is should be noted during his time here Lynn was slightly more aggressive to go for it on 4th down than league avg. Although maybe it would be a 4th down run call. He did have that going for 2 and win at KC in 2018. I think that was last time we beat KC until today.

That was a great game. Our run D is alarming though. Hopefully getting Justin Jones back fixes that but they gave up 6.2 ypr today. Even the announcers were mentioning we are 30th in the league for run D in the coverage.

The Chargers are the 8th best in passing defensive yards allowed. Lets see if Staley and co. can gradually bring the run defense up to par.
