Bags is so bad, he missed a figgie and a pat and got cut after just one game...now, THAT'S bad...

Chargers have to play Cleveland and @Baltimore after the Raiders next week. Those aren't easy games.

I know. This AFC West team facing good teams before the bye. The other teams in this division facing who we defeated, later on. Not checked, but the Chargers are among those teams having the hardest schedule, by luck of the draw this season.

One thing that stood out to me in this game is how much the D played together. Tranq, Asante, Gilman, Bosa, Tillery, Davis, Campbell, Linval, Adderley all made big plays. Nwosu also had good pressure multiple times although he never quite got home and White made some good plays in space. Hopefully Jones’ return helps stiffen the run defense and we can really move the needle to being an elite defense but back-to-back games holding Dak and Mahomes under 300 yards is terribly impressive.

Here is the rule on illegal shifts:

                    SHIFTS

The offensive team is permitted to shift and have two or more players in motion multiple times before the snap. However, after the last shift, all players must come to a complete stop and be in a set position simultaneously for at least one full second.

If any eligible backfield player goes in motion (one at a time) after the last shift and comes to a complete stop, there is no requirement for a full second pause before a second player can legally go in motion.

However, if the first player has not come to a complete stop when the second player goes in motion, it is another shift and requires another simultaneous stop for at least one full second by all players.

It is also an illegal shift if a player under or behind center goes in motion and fails to come to a complete stop for at least one full second before a second player goes in motion.

Note: The offensive team must present a legal formation both before and after a shift.

Penalty: For an illegal shift: Loss of five yards.

The issue is what is meant by 'a complete stop' and 'in a set position'?

                      And a hate button.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

I wish Reid a speedy recovery. I also hope he retires to take care of his health.
