Chargers didn’t attempt to take the top off the defense once today. They’ll need to do that as teams are going to start sitting on the shorter routes as WFT did after the first drive.

Herbert’s accuracy was exceptional today.

Guys I thought I would see more of where Tranquil and JJ.

Ekeler looked good and had a key blitz pick up.

KJ Hill showed promise as a receiver in the 4th. Best game as a Charger.

MW got his contract year off to a good start.

Jared Cook was very good.

Against Ds like WFT or Tampa you have to get rid of it quick. There were a LOT of 15+ yard passes, but when they rush 4 and drop 7 and then you throw it in 2 seconds or less...not a lot you can do over the top. We don't know if the routes were called and not there either.

Herbert had 334 yards even with 6 drops. This wasn't dink and dunk.

Yes, I recall. Was Vea in that game? I know he missed a lot last year. Their secondary also got better through the year last year.

Anyway, we won. The offense was in control againat a VERY good defense.

Yeah, did note no long pass attempts, Herbert had a lot of time though against a very good D. I think it was by design, but they got enough chunks to different receivers.

He may be a bit enthusiastic but he does have a point. There is a certain percentage here that are so chronically bitter, depressed, doubtful, despondent and always predicting doom … and i do mean ALWAYS predicting doom. it’s tiresome. if i was that broken and damaged by a football team, i would have stopped watching long ago.

I’ll needle the naysayers all day, every day. Im trying to lif their spirits, its from a place of love. We can go thru life one of two ways:

1. Predicting every step and breath is a catastrophe, every flaw a fatality, and dreading every moment that lies ahead as that moment we will all die
2. Assuming everything will be great, despite any past the next step is sure to be the best.

I’m riding and sliding as #2 all day every day - its fucking fun. I got a skip in my step, a smile on my face. Debbie downers make me laugh at how they smugly torture themselves as if their self-pain is a virtue and it will translate into something better beyond it. Fucking A, stop punching yourself in the dick and enjoy life for just one moment.

I want everyone to enjoy the good life - just let #2 work for them.
