How many games have I screamed at the screen "tackle somebody." It looks like we finally got our 100 tackle a year guy.

Intense, emotional, productive, looks like we finally have a leader on the D.

He made all those tackles in how many games? Now he gets to play 16+ a year, lets make that 150 tackle a year guy?
I like the attitude he brings along with his game............and how many forced fumbles?

Butlers sucking and Te'o's availability are both factors, imo.

Hes a little London Fletcher type. He can stay on the field all 3 downs. Hes not slow. He just a football player. He was ranked top ILB before the combine. Must have fallen due to size. But he will be a tackle machine for us. Butler killed us. I mentioned a while ago i would have liked McKinney because we could upgrade the ILB and OLB spot with him. In the even that Butler keeps sucking we would have his replacement. Clearly TT saw what we all saw in the middle. This is our enforcer sideline to sideline. Not great timed speed but very fast on the field.

I like the pick i just would have never guessed ILB in the 2nd. TT mentioned he wanted more team speed on D well he got it. He will be a tackle machine.

According to Gehlkin it likely means that Te'o becomes a nickle and dime package player. If that's the case it took us two 2nds and a fourth to fill one position.

I was just gonna say that, i.e., isn't Te'o more of a coverage LB? I never thought he (Te'o) had the build/thumperish-ness to be a 'force' around the LOS.

Here's an idea...leave Reyes on the bench. Play 10 players on defense. Let Denzel get a full head of steam going towards that RB.
