Realistically I can see 5 Ls
    KC
    Den
    Browns
    RAVENS
One game we should have won will have slipped out of our hands due to injury or something insane.
say, the Texans or some crazy sh@t like that.

    We're sweeping the turds
    Darius "4.36" Davis
    top play speed: 23.47 MPH

    SDP2024: (Triple Play)

Why do you see DEN as a loss? Not saying you’ll be wrong but just curious because their not exactly a lock for being a good or even decent team next season.
Tom Telesco’s Results in 9 years as Chargers GM:

      - 69-74 record
      - 0 division titles in 9 yrs as GM
      - Worst record among all active GMs with same tenure
      - 6th worst winning percentage among all active GMs overall
      - 2 playoff wins despite elite QB all 9 yrs
      - Team still has the same weaknesses (Oline and run defense) that it had when hired as GM in 2013
      - Consistently puts together horrible depth, expects starters to never miss games

I didnt do mine game by game but i think we will fix some of the glaring wtf issues which will turn more of those 3 pts or less our way this year. The OL has the potential to be a drastic improvement from the basement performance to give Herbie more time and keep opposing offenses on the bench.

i think playoffs are def possible. Get er dun Staley!

7 wins last year with a poor OL and a bad coaching.
The new OL will give 2 more wins and the new coaching too.
          11-6

I voted for 12-5. I think this team is capable of it. IMO, the top 3 teams i the AFC are going to be the KC Chiefs, Buffalo Bills and the LA Chargers. The Browns and the Ravens will round out the top 5, and might make a case for being in the top 3. The Titans are also a team to watch out for. Right now, my guess would be these six teams will be in the playoffs. The 7th playoff spot, if I had to make a guess, will the Colts or the Raiders, maybe the Patriots.

              I'm saying 11-6.

With a few breaks, it could be better-- maybe even considerably better-- but it's stupid to make projections based on the anticipation of breaks going your way.

Right now, we can only GUESS about how improved the Defensive Front Seven is. We have reason to be hopeful, but we really don't know shit!

I think it's logical to expect Herbert to improve, because :

              (1) He's REALLY intelligent and athletically equipped for the job, and

              (2) Improving is what he did all of last season. He didn't plateau. One example-- His INT total was completely respectable, AND the majority of his INTs came earlier in the season, and

              (3) Herb's protection figures to be *vastly* better than he got as a rookie.

It's the defense that is the bigger mystery. Likewise, we can't be sure the degree to which Darius Swinton's specials teams units can have a positive influence on the outcome of games. However, given the coaching changes, and clear commitment make overdue changes, it *is* sensible IMO to believe the ST units will *not* be a gigantic Achilles' Heel in 2021 like they've so often been in recent seasons.

It is reasonable to believe that poor coaching will not lose winnable games this year.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

I don't see any game that we are a lock to lose.
On the other hand, it's the NFL. Stuff happens. 12-5.

OL should be @ NFL avg, maybe a little better. This isn't a polished unit as a group. That won't mean as much to the pass game as the run. Receivers are a greater strength. The O should be more consistent.
On D, Jones is ready to go off like a grenade. Tillery can carry his lunch. Joseph is reliable & depth has improved.
                  Edge - not too shabby.
LBs- Staley's scheme is a big plus, + healthy Tranquill & White.
DBs- DJ is Huge. A lot of young talent + Harris.
                  D will be interesting.
If STs are @ avg or better, we're gonna be strong competitors.

I’ll withhold voting until after I see how we look in preseason and if we have any serious injuries.

Aside front he injuries, just not sure how fast we get up to speed with all of the new systems - could be rocky early.

Serious injuries ( heaven forefend) would make a difference.

I doubt that we'll see much 1st unit and their schemes in preseason games. Washington will be our 1st real look at the 2021 Chargers.

If we get lucky, Dak Prescott will miss the game against us.
