Ok, since that answer was from a different post regarding retreads as possible HC's. Who is your pick for a new retread coach?

I like Harbaugh too, I just don't think this organization would ever hire him mainly due to cost and past issues with getting along with front office and ownership when he was the coach at SF.

Or they can hire Turner, McCoy, Lynn, or Staley.
Hiring an alpha coach that would cost a lot of money like Harbaugh doesn't seem like a move they would probably make.

I think there's a much greater chance they hire Moore as a replacement than hiring Harbaugh.

If they keep Moore and Ficken and add a competent DC that would at least be an improvement

He'll have to win a bunch of games first. We'll have to fire Staley before the Ws pile up.

Well, Jed York I believe it was,.. was meddling back then. He has since stepped back.

Harbaugh has also played for Dean when he was a Charger so they should have an idea and some sort of relatioship. Bottom line is probably money.

I used to love Chris Pederson as a coach. His record is astounding at Boise/Washington. Kellen Moores mentor in many ways. Be cool to maybe lure him out of the booth to take the HC job here and keep Moore. But thats if Moore doesn't get poached. I think you have to protect him anyways as im guesing with so many QBs coming in over the next few years teams will want a good QB guy. And Moore is having a solid impact on Herbert. If Steichen deserve a HC spot...Moore certainly will. At least those are my expectations.
