We already missed out on Reid in 2013 and Peyton last year. Don't strike out again, Dean.

I know people ripped me for wanting to get rid of Keenan Allen. And he has made me eat my words so far as he is playing well - but I still think for the long term of the franchise - moving on from Allen and seeing the value for Bosa would have been the smart long term moves. The defense just isn't good enough and Kendrick was a fine player but like Thomas Davis, maybe not the best signee
And now - if you look at the cap its either tripling down on Bosa Mack and Williams (possibly Allen) or waiving them and rebuilding as they are so far over the cap

I mean, if they couldn't figure out in a totally meaningless game to not rest their key players - how could I think they could actually win a Super Bowl

for the if and when there might be a fire sale.... these are the guys I'd be looking to move (before Halloween btw):
on O >> MW, Pips, Ek
on D >> Bosa, Derwin and JC Jack
they drafted Palmer as a contract hedge against MW, and sure looks like QJ is a MW 2.0/dupe for the future ??
and I like Salyer @guard, but he needs to play RT until we can do better.
and love us some Ek all we want, but the better biz decision, and if the season continues as some foresee.... is to let Kelley close things out and get some run from Dotson and Spiller, and.... get a pick.
and have inferred it in the past, and as it has always been a concern 'bout the Bear.... never quite know what he has done to his body in the offseason and away from Chargers Park, but my suspicion is that his body is breaking down, and faster than not.... move on, and 'specially as Tuipulotu is gonna be just as productive.
and know some here will lose it w/the suggestion to move DJ, and.... see Eric Weddle, and where did that ever get us.... we overspent on him (James), and just like most of the rest of 'em.
and along w/Pips, just a poor personnel eval w/JC Jack, and despite how much we'd all love to see him flourish here.
we need to restock w/draft picks, move on from team Tommy John, and bring in Jim, and sorry.... but Staley stays for the duration.... (he ain't getting fired midseason).DT Grant, Omarr, Cross, ED Mykel, Tuimoloau, RB Damien Martinez,โ Raheim,โ OG Donovan, Savaiinaea, TE Oronde, Moliki Matavao, DB JaCobee
WR Keenan, TE Fant, OC James Daniels DT BJ Hill, ED Malcolm Koonce

aftr.... was not a doomsdayer to start the season, or after last, and rather thought we'd be somewhere 'round 12-5 on the season, and still could for all eye know, and....
do think we have a winning season, just not sure we're gonna make the playoffs, and even less likely the AFCC, let alone win the thing.
was a fan of moving on from Brandon, but did give him credit for and was relatively optimistic w/his donning of the beard, which is a hellah lot better than any visor, and.... not off to a good start.
overall have stayed away from here of late as was rather dismayed @the passing on Dalton Kincaid, and then to have an armada of posters call others out as donkeys for not brown nosing the drafting of Quentin, and.... wasn't on the Zay Flowers bandwagon, but do think passing on Kincaid was as bad or worse than passing on Star.
overall, think team Tommy John made some good moves, and some not so good moves this offseason, and.... our downfall looks to be w/Pips 'n Jackson, as best as eye can tell and to date ??DT Grant, Omarr, Cross, ED Mykel, Tuimoloau, RB Damien Martinez,โ Raheim,โ OG Donovan, Savaiinaea, TE Oronde, Moliki Matavao, DB JaCobee
