I thought the coaching 'biz' has no respect for him?

They keep hiring him. 10 years college, 6yrs , 4 teams moving up in NFL.
It's probably true that he's not widely respected as an NFL HC as we speak.

Sorta. 9-8, 10-7. Above 50% with more wins each year is generally considered favorable. Playoffs 0-1, no. Making playoffs in year 2, yes.

Well, if they lose the next two vs. the Vikes and the Raiders, it might be the right time to can Staley at the bye, but it won't happen, just too soon in the season.

He seems to be regressing more than anything else.

I’m waiting for Ownership to “direct” that Staley has to give-up defensive play-calling duties; he’s doing a very poor job at being a Head Coach and (offensive) Defensive Coordinator.

Not sure what the Chargers were thinking when they hired Staley - given his lack of coaching experience - that this dual role could work….

I'd keep him a 4rth year if there is no head coach they like available next offseason.

I cringe to think what Jefferson is going to do against Staley's D next week. We know TT has the balls about the size of tic tacs and an in season coaching move is not going to happen. Just a pathetic performance sprinkled in with some boneheaded plays at the worse possible time. Just pathetic

The 45 yards in personal fouls was critical, but 2-14 in third down efficiency is where the game was won by the Titans. The defense stepped up, but committed 3 personal fouls.

The offense failed on 3rd down. Why that last possession in regulation ran out, seems like a misuse of the clock. Still haven't played a complete game.
