So in essence the Chargers play with 2 DTs, 2 LBs, Bosa and Mack and 5 DBs?

I would do whatever defense allows Bosa and Mack to be the best Edge Rushers they can be
For most plays correct. That's exactly why we got gashed in the run game last year. We're asking Bosa and Mack
to set the edge, get to the QB and drop in coverage depending on the offensive scheme. Miami didn't try to run the
football last week. In the first half they averaged 6.2 ypc if one doesn't count Tua's two fumbles. Our run D is not
been tested this year. We have injured LBs and I fear the Titans will run outside blocking scheme where we are
weak. Bosa and maybe Kendricks are out. Henely is out. Rumph is out. We are very thin at LB Van Noy is out
there and what did we do? Brought in a RB. Are we asking for trouble? Yes we are. After all we are the Chargers.

All 11 have to read run or pass and play accordingly.
I like Tuli in Bosa's slot. Henley is back and we have Nieman, Muse and Amen at LB depth. B Allen at edge depth.

I thought Henely is out with a groan injury. Never even heard of the guys you listed. Have they even played?

He's not going to let the game become a Tyreek track meet like Staley did.
Tua is 4-0 against the Patriots.

Peter King has solid thoughts on the Pats-Dolphins matchup. Florio is a carnival barker.

Sorry you're right - Moore's side of the ball did well (overall). I would have liked to see them be better on the last series, though - there's room for improvement.

He hired Mark Fabiani, Mariah Carey's PR person to handle the stadium in San Diego when he had one of the most well-conected people in the NFL on his staff in his building! He once mentioned he would be happiest opening a burger joint in Aspen. I say sell the team and don't let the door hit your backside on the way out of town.
                  To be fair - I didn't say they ran it WELL . . . . . . . . . . .

The first post in this thread cracks me up to read now... We're so easily fooled as Charger fans.

                      I bought into it
my first thought it was a bad hire
I forget the names that interviewed in total
                      Bieniemy
                      Garrett
                      Daboll
                      Eberflus
                      Saleh
                      Brady
                      Staley
                      Did Arthur Smith

As best as I can recall: Joe Brady was at the bottom, Staley or arthur Smith next, followed by Staley or Arthur Smith

I had Daboll, probably Saleh and Garrett third

                        I did too . . . . . . . . . . Staley interviews very well, speaks well. I really thought we had something . . . . . . . . . . . . . . but he's more style - less substance. He sure fooled me . . . . . . .

                          My prediction...

Staley sees his stars as difference makers. He banks on them ultimately coming through.

The first quarter of the season will be dicey.

                          Then, we'll see.

I am not teying to make excuses,
just saying patience would be a good idea.

                          Get comfortable with being uncomfortable.
