Not a big Stephen A Smith fan in general, but he isn't wrong about Stayley - he did not, and does not deserve to coach a Herbert led team.

Mack/Bosa. Slater. Herbert. JC. Allen/MW.
We invested heavily in cap allotment and draft picks at impact positions. Glimpses have shown promise, not surprisingly.
IMV the correct thing to do is to stay the course.
Relying on better health from impact players in 2023 is competent management of the situation. That is distinctly different than "doing the same thing and expecting different results."
Staley isn’t just a bad head coach. He’s a terrible head coach that hired his failure of a friend to be the OC and has unearned arrogance combined with virtually no experience actually running a team. He could have shown wisdom when he built his staff, but he didn’t. He could have shown progress and learning, but he hasn’t.

You know why? They like the players and want them to succeed.
The same can not be said for most teams.
Everybody wants to get on the Chargers bandwagon but “chargering” always throws them off.
