I think Jones might be a good fit. Speed is good to add and with Royal unsigned I think he's a more natural slot guy to get in space. Ravens liked to have him run those deep routes too and at 6'2" i think he is more versatile than Royal. Good locker room guy too so I think its a good signing and cheap for a 7 or so year vet to take a chance on....low risk.

I think Jones is solid insurance policy for Royal if he goes. He at least has potential to outperform his contract....a few mil the first year is not a lot for a vet of his year...if Royal goes I think he'll get much more opportunity than in the Ravens offense. Not saying he's a perfect WR but his PR/KR value alone is worth him as a 4th/5th WR on this team to add solid value.

Finally a return guy; and a guy that does both punts and IO. Can also fill in as WR depth. I hope like hell he is no Being looked at as Royal's replacement. He would be a big downgrade as the slot receiver.
