The con is how far removed from downtown.

The plus is removed from all the political bullshit. The county is very pro charger and could be passed via El Cajon city council and the bridge loan given with no vote at all from the county. The county could give the land.

While I'm a big fan of Comic Con and don't want to see it go, I don't want the Chargers hitching their wagon to that if another viable deal comes across.

I like this idea but the issue of the airport and height restrictions are a concern.

so are 2/3 of all football stadiums. Its easier to build farther removed from an urban area you are.

True but think about it.....The Pats don't play in Boston but Niners don't plan San Francisco and the Jets and Giants don't play in New York...The only way to afford or get a stadium approved us to get out of the Metropolitan area

Supposedly the airport was the reason the racetrack got shuttled out of there.

It's not a concern really just move the stadium as far as way as possible from gilipse field

During events no fly zones.

I live in Ramona rift next to an airport. The key is establishing fly zones. Don't go below ten thousand feet maverick.
