I think for the right free agents -- and for me thats Linsley, Feiler, maybe Thuney, JJ3 (unless Jenkins shows he can play the position), younger edge rushers like Reddick or Onkwara, CB like Griffin - they have enough cap space to push some to 2022 and 2023 that they can be somewhat aggressive. And still will be able to fill in with veterans are lower cost deals

Yeah, you definitely need to spend on the right guys since FA is more miss than hit. We seem to do better with the smaller signings like Woodhead versus a big name FA like Franklin or Travis Benjamin.

Those are good points. Telesco also missed on Derek Cox who was bigger money

Maybe Telesco should stick with the Woodhead, Hayward type signings - undervalued players, fewer years, less dollars

I wouldn't say that is the reason. It may be part of it but it isn't the only reason at all.
They run different routes, Keenan gets the shorter routes and is a first down machine and likely is the first progression more times than not. He also plays in the slot. MW is usually always outside.

I don't think Telesco would say what he does about him or offer him a fifth year option if he didn't get open half the time. Silly argument imo.

I predict Tyron Johnson will get more targets, catch more passes, and rack up more receiving yardage than Mike Williams in 2021. Johnson has elite speed, great hands and is emerging as a superb route runner - a complete package. He is going to have a breakout season and become the Bolts No. 2 WR.

WTH....I am surprised by that. Makes me think they are going to be going hard after high end oline vets in FA, to protect Burrows...makes sense...then take Farley or Surtain.

Is he better than Henry? Stats seem pretty similar. So Smith, Ertz, and Henry are out there as TE's.

As a Bear, he played with an edge.

He was suffering...but a years rest may be what it takes for him to play a couple more years...but would Howie let one of his boys don the powder blues?:dunno:
