If Staley was captain of the Titanic, after hitting the iceberg, he would probably say something like, "I say, old boy, we should be able to bolster up that minor hole and be on our way presently...now, where's my spot of tea?"

I would imagine John boy would be your captain, Telesco would his first mate, and Staley was a deck hand told to use a bit of caulk on that hole
