How's Vaughan stacking up in the CB race?

He’s playing more DS now and playing well. He had a PBU in the PS game. More of a practice squad/call-up candidate while he’s still a developmental project.

Rolling with hope on ST has cost us a lot of games over the years.

Agreed. After so many years of terrible special teams - I am fine keeping a player like Ryan Smith specifically for Special Teams. And maybe one more player. Telesco let Watt, Dzub and Phillips go in Spring 2020 - which is fine. But he didn't replace them (and also kept the same lousy coach). So hoping a guy like Bannon or Vaughn can play better than Smith - not a risk to take.

Thats a great point too --- if he doesn't show it - can't keep him

Cut him now, bring him back as an injury replacement. Guys are going to get hurt. Who in the league would cut a healthy guy to sign an injured one after TC?
