My equilibrium/balance is so bad now that I couldn’t just stand on the wobbly thing let alone throwing a football.

Me too. I walk like a drunk and only my cane keeps me upright. I screwed up the nerves in my right leg three years ago and I guess somehow the nerves in your feet send a message to the brain that keeps you in balance. Without the nerves in the leg the message doesn't get through. Once upon a time I was a pretty good athlete, now I can't walk without the cane. Tomorrow I start radiation so I'll probably get worse for a time.

I am now getting a better understanding of the phrase "Youth is wasted on the young" as well.

I still hope for my bionic replacements parts to come into reality.

I’m hoping the best for you heading into your radiation treatments.

Thanks Ninja, the feeling is mutual. They said I'll be gone in six months without the treatments but they could add two years with the treatments. - So, here I go - I'll be getting them until the 15th of July. Then I'll have another CT scan to see where I'm at. All the scans, x-rays, MRI, and now the radiation I should glow in the dark by the time it's over.
