Dont really care about JJIII but the Thuney signing will put a dent in us if we want to sign Linsley

Johnson got an AAV of $11+ - so a good deal for him. But at those dollars - would bring back Rayshawn and sign an Edge rusher if spending those kinds of funds

Linsley might cost a bit too. They are in on him with the 49ers and Cardinals per Manish Mehta

TT is like CalTrans. They are great and efficient at tearing up the street or in this case the roster but now it will be some time before it gets fixed. So we just have to put up with frustration and miles of cones blocking off the street ot team.

Then why are the Pats, Bucs, and Chiefs doing it? Those are the top organizations with the most recent Super Bowl rings.

The Bucs are resigning their key players to fair contracts given their play. I don’t see that as panicking. The Pats are signing defensive guys hoping that Jonnu and running it back with Cam can turn their whole offense around? Chiefs just lost both starting OT and then signed an OG to 5/80. Thuney is the only guy signed so far I would have liked but not for that price tag.

I remember 3 hours ago when everyone was saying TT better not panic buy and here we are, panic already taking hold. I have yet to see a single player we should have been interested in for the price sign elsewhere. TT signs Thuney for 80 and people would lose their mind.

Exactly, tons of quality IOL guys available this year. We don’t just need starters but depth too, can’t blow the whole load on one player just to have the rest of the OL be scrubs.

I would lose my mind over Thuney. This thread reminds me of the game day thread lol. Our big external signings have almost always failed us year to year. While our bargain ones have paid off more often more than not.

Yep and we'll have our pick of guys like Tevi, Lamp and Feeney to "fix" our offensive line. But by God, we won't overpay for them! Our healthy cap situation has worked out so well for us the past two years.
