A week, or two... sounds like he's looking at position coaches from playoff teams. I really like Tampa's LB coach, Mike Caldwell. He's developed young LB's and made his run defenses top-10 with various teams (Jets, Bucs). Our defense could use those improvements. The Bucs defense is something we should be looking at... not just Rams defense.

I was just thinking that he may be waiting on someone from that Bucs D as well.

Granted, he is more from the Andy Reid system and not the Shanahan system thats for sure. But a good coach is a good coach - can adapt.
Both are variations of the West Coast offense.

Andy’s changed his offense so many times, I feel like it is it’s own thing now. Kind of like Walsh creating the WCO or Ohio River Offense out of necessity.

              Pleasant interviewing with the Lions

Anthony Weaver D Line coach with the RAvens

              Gannon to the Colts

It looks like it might be Renaldo Hills job to be DC of the Chargers - unless there are names from teams still playing. Kevin Ross and Mike Caldwell from the Bucs are interesting names

Staley calling the D may not appeal to some DC prospects.
                OC will have more responsibility.

Thats a good point. I would prefer the HC not call plays to be honest. Enough going on in the game. He can always "suggest" things - be involved with game planning. That would be my preference actually.

Chiefs fans disagree. Norv did it too but as a first time HC , id think he would have enough on his plate though also being a first time HC , he trsuts his cals more since he hasnt had anyone do it for him. Cept when he was an assistant. Who knows.

I’m not necessarily a fan of Bowles defensive scheme. They don’t know how to balance their blitzing attack.

I love how even Schefter hedges his bet by saying “tracking”. God I hope Lombardi learned from his previous failure and tenure as the Lions OC.

                          Repeat after me Adam.

"Brian Daboll is tracking to become LAC HC."
