The demise of Carson Wentz and the apparent animosity between the two and the shiite show the Eagles have become since their SB win does not reflect well on Pederson IMO. He may still be a goo coach, but IMO he needs to step back for a year or two to reflect on what went wrong. and learn from it. So no, IMO.

Yes. Of course. He checks all the boxes. Experienced HC’s who have won a super bowl don’t grow on trees. It’s rare that they are available. KC took a Philly coach who went to a super bowl and....the rest is history

The Eagles have the second worst cap space in the league to go along with a crappy roster: $75 million over the cap. Not a great spot unless you are comfortable you can fix Wentz and are really sure the owner will be patient as that looks like a several year rebuild.

I’m comfortable calling my shot this early.
Daboll is getting old and will accept a HC job this offseason
he prefers us but will settle for the Wentz reclamation project.
Eagles gamble that Wentz is similar enough to Allen that Daboll and fix him.

According to the reports DP is very hard to work with/for. That might explain the mass exodus of coaches from Philly even before this firing. Communication between DP, other coaches and players was a disaster.
