Going to disagree with this strongly. Assholes rarely last long as HC. It’s the reason most of the Belichick tree don’t work. The HC needs Lynn’s strengths but none of his weaknesses. Otherwise you end up with someone like Josh McDaniels who pisses everyone off and tries to trade away your roster.

Khan is self made,but yeah, just hasn't hit the right combo. Jack Del Rio was ok for them, he just ran out of time like many coaches. Marone is also a good coach, ran out of time. Caldwell was probably the problem, but I'm sure that Khan had some say in that team. Still have the lingering doubt of that team staying in Jax, though.

It is funny that Andy Reid was widely known to have some of Lynns weaknesses (time management) but magically overcame it with time. There is no perfect hire and we could easily do worse than Lynn. I hope the Spanose's pick the right coach but fear they won't.

Remove Mike Williams (replace with hopefully HH) and Melvin Ingram, and the rest of the list looks more accurate and better.

I am keeping HH over MW. But if you can get MW on a good deal - I am fine bringing him back. But there are options at WR. Ingram is done - they can get younger and better value

As for Head Coach

Daboll, Urban, Caldwell, Harbaugh and Wink are five names I like

Now need full on push for Urban Meyer. Major metropolitan city, great performing young QB and two outstanding defensive players in Bosa and James to build around. Time to push past the Rams. This is the only way to do it.

God no. Great college coach but he will be Chip Kelly 2.0. I don't think his style of coaching fits the NFL

It will be interesting to see the list of people they interview. That to me will be telling to me

I am hoping for more experienced candidates than less experienced. Which is why I am okay with Caldwell and Harbaugh

No problem. Not like we didnt see his defense every day in practice. He wont bring the heat either. Only guy that is a good pass rusher for them is Crosby.

I'd love it if the Raiders picked him up.
