Black Monday - HC Anthony Lynn Fired - Detroits New OC

I have only seen a couple of rumors about Lynn being gone, nothing about TT so I’ll vote (hope?) for B.

The thing about B and C though is that the team kind of has to commit to TT - what coach would come here with a GM on the hot seat, knowing that if another GM is brought in, he might want to choose his own coach?

Same thing applies to Lynn - if he is brought back for another prove it year, what coaches would want to come here unless they are unemployed?

I feel bad for Lynn. Telesco gave him the crap OL to work w. They had the 3rd worst ypr at 3.8 this year. The D couldn't' stop the run either. We had < 2 sacks/game too so that was dismal as well. It was just shitty football this year.

I don't know the medical on them, but he brought in two probowlers for the right side and had Pouncey at center. The left side was going to be whoever proved it. On paper, that's not a bad line. Reality was different, but I can see where he was going. If TT messed up it's not having a real RB that can stay healthy.

Lynn couldn't win with the '91 cowboys line. If you're going to manage games like him you have to hope to be gifted wins.
