Well, it seems like if PIT beats CIN, KC's SOS should jump up by more than the .002 that our SOS is currently better than theirs (per ESPN). Also, BUF has a better strength of schedule than we have. So, it seems like we might be picking 17th in the first round, second among the four 9-7 teams. We can't be first among the four 9-7 teams because HOU's schedule was soft.

If I understand the rule correctly, we would then pick first among the four teams in the second round, which would be the 48th pick.

Then, we would drop to the 4th among the 9-7 teams to pick in the third round, which would be pick #83 if I did the math right.

Does anyone else have any information on this?

I think that's right. The lowest in the round that the Chargers would pick is 18th, ahead of the Eagles. For the schedule... 3rd place would probably mean playing the Jags and Miami/Buffalo, as well as the AFCN and NFCN

The AFCN and NFCN have 5 playoff teams out of 8 teams. Add in the games against KC and Denver and we once again have a very difficult schedule.

Saw Miami finished at 8-8... we play them again next season. KC plays Houston and Buffalo.

NFL Draft Order 2015: Titans Have the 2nd Pick

The Tennessee Titans finally ended their dreadful season today with a stellar 2-14 record. Man, if only Sammie Lee Hill wouldn't have blocked that field goal against the Jaguars. The Titans would then be looking at the #1 pick. However, since they won that game, they now have the 2nd pick in the 2015 draft.

The Titans would have had a lot of options had they been able to secure the #1 pick. Someone is going to fall in love with Marcus Marriota and want to move up and get him with the first pick. The Buccaneers can now chose to take him there or get some extra picks and move back. The Titans need extra picks.


That will leave them with a choice about Jameis Winston with the 2nd pick. I have made my thoughts on Winston perfectly clear- I don't want him anywhere near this franchise. The Titans should use that pick to get a defensive stud.
