Something ive approached Captain with. A draft profile forum.
Off the index page we have "2014 NFL Draft Player Profiles"
In the forum we have each individual position as threads. Then when you click on the thread you get a sub forum to list each player at a position. Then i can fill each player with a draft profile. Pasted analysis from all over the internet for each player. Members can even add to each players profile with info they find.
Next thing you know we have a huge amount of information for each player available in the 2014 draft.
Each year we change the date and then archive the old profiles.
Every year the forum is littered with random bits of info or player profiles are all lumped into the main stickied Official draft thread. I think most members wont see the analysis of the player because of all the filtering that is needed. Members will almost always go elsewhere for draft info. Not to say its wrong to post and discuss in the Official Draft thread just that the analysis of a player put out by pundits should all be in one easy to locate and organized place so members can go read about them.
This isnt supposed to be a separate discussion forum for the draft. But more of a database that is put together by us Members when we have info on a player we would like to add to a player profile.
