    KC early week discussion

Injuries. We need our guys back. A healthy Mathews would make all the difference. Watt and Porkchops. Both 1st season starters, they should have their best games of the season. Inman played like an all-pro yesterday, let's hope he can keep it up. A healthy Carrethers to plug up the middle against jamaal Charles.

And Charles getting a high ankle sprain today on the last play of the game while running out the clock in the Chiefs win over the demon Pitt.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
    The Wasted Decade is done.

If Watt and Porkchops come back healthy enough to play, they should be on the bench anyway. The guys who replaced them are better.

Getting Mathews back on a permanent basis would be the difference between us having an outside chance and us being real Super Bowl contenders. But I'm not counting on Mathews ever making it through a game - let alone an entire series of playoff games.

I don't want Wat and Porkchops back in there.

That rush defense was historically bad last night. We really need a much better effort next week. Of course, the Chief's rush defense is even worse than ours is. It would be nice if we had a healthy Mathews but I am afraid he may be done for the year unless we somehow made a deep playoff run.

Thanks for joining the cause. Watt might be good in the future, but he isn't now.

I agree, he desperately needs more experience.

And yet the coaches who see all of these guys practice and play are starting Watt.

Yea. I wrote a post about that earlier. I don't get it. Also started Tutu and Porkchops. No entiendo. I'm wondering if there is somebody better than Rinehart and Fluker who aren't starting either.

                    I doubt Tutu starts again.

                      Need more Inman.

                      And Robinson and Sirles.

But the coaches have seen these dudes during practice. Why did it take this long to figure out Inman was better than Tutu at wide receiver? How many more games must Watt and Porkchops play before the coaches see what the rest of us see.
I hope Tutu not playing offense will mean he goes back to dominating on special teams. We'll need special teams to not give up those long-ass kick and punt returns next week. From what I understand, KC is good at returns.
