    Best Running Back Duos

Bolts made the list twice, but not with whom you might think.

Very happy to see Lincoln and Lowe recognized.

Well I thought this was going to be presently in the NFL, and I thought maybe you were going to play up Austin Ekeler and Kalen Ballage.

I would not have thought of Butts and Harmon as one of the best ever. Harmon was almost exclusively a WR out of the backfield on 3rd down for the Chargers. He was masterful at it. If you look at his numbers during his SDC years his rushing stats are hardly worth noting compared to his receiving stats. I would have thought o Butts and Means as a more formidable RB duo, but they only played together one season.

The duo of LT and the Burner while they were together in SD were a devastating tandem. When you add Sproles in, that was one of the best corps of RBs ever. Don't understand why they aren't on this list.

Also, Cuck Muncie and James Brooks were a dynamite duo for a season or two in the early '80s, but it didn't last long.
