While he was a terrible Charger and screwed us fans and teammates for years, and did not deserve all the money he made in the NFL. I truly feel sorry for him as a man having to deal with such dark times and utter horror that is drug addiction. Drug addiction is not a choice, it is a disease that has taken to many people from us. Having dealt with many close friends in the past who have been lost into the world of drugs (be it prescription or narcotic), I do not wish addiction on my worst enemy. Hopefully he can clean up and stay clean from here on on out.

Yea, hating on people's personal happiness outside of football is lame. I never want to see this guy complete a pass. But as far as his life goes, I hope it is a happy one.

For about six months Leaf turned it around, he even turned to self deprecation. He had a radio gig and even had Jay Posner on and apologized to him. Then his addiction got hold of him again and that landed him in prison.

I too hope he turns it around. I was rooting for him before his latest fall.
