James is already on IR out for the year so one more spot is open....... Im also guessing there will be at least one or 2 surprises.....there usually are..... also possibility of snagging someone elses cuts.....

We have to keep an extra wr while Williams is hurt. That reduces the roster spots available for guys like Parham.

If they felt Stick had too much potential to expose to the PS last season I don't think they are going to risk losing Parham and his potential. That's my humble opinion.

James, who had season-ending surgery this week to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee, will remain on the active roster once final cuts are made, just as he did last year. The Chargers will place him on IR after cuts — probably Sunday — and with that open roster spot, I would expect them to bring back Meeks, who primarily has played safety for the Chargers but also has played cornerback in previous NFL stops. Jenkins starts at strong safety, Adderley at free safety. Hayward and Harris are the corners in base. Harris moves inside to the slot in nickel packages, with Davis coming on as the second outside corner opposite Hayward.
