NFL suspended free agent S Will Hill 10 games for violating the substance abuse policy.
The Ravens cut ties with Hill, replacing him with ex-Chargers S Eric Weddle. Hill has been suspended four times since entering the league in 2012. Despite coming off a strong season, he's going to struggle to find a team willing to give him another chance. Hill won't be eligible to return until Week 11.
It sounds like the Ravens are over the Hill.

I would too, easily. He'd instantly be one of the top guys on the defense.

              Trade for Kam, draft Bosa.

              Legit scary defense for once.

This defense needs much more than Chancellor and Bosa to make it "legit and scary".

I doubt we trade for Kam but if we did and drafted Bosa we would be legit and scary

I know the standard line about a strong D making the offense better. But the reverse is also true, I'd love to have an O that could put up more points, and get the other team playing from behind more. THAT would make our defense scary.

Chargers have $13.6M in cap space, per NFLPA. Must budget for draft picks, in-season reserve, etc. But enough to do what they want in FA.
