One can only hope, Marshall was playing press and never redirects or chucks the Sanders and just turns and tries to run with Sanders, which makes no sense at all. Maybe after the bye when we are full strength hopefully we go with Wright, Flowers, Verrett, Williams and Davis, and just cut Marshal. I would cut him after this game but that only leave us with two healthy corners which would be Wright and Davis.

Could Marshall be worse than Cox? I didn't think it was possible, but I'm beginning to wonder.

It's really simple, guys. Marshall sucks because he doesn't have the tools. Cox has the tools and sucks because he couldn't get his head around the game. Perhaps we disagree, but I think the latter is worse.

Marshall is trying, and he does what the coaches ask. He just sucks. He never should have been lined up 1-on-1 against a speedy WR like Sanders, for example. But he was, and he did his best, and he got burned and would probably get burned every single time in that situation. But Cox probably would have bitten on something or gone with some other man and been nowhere in the picture. And at least Marshall is a secure tackler.

I don't want Marshall on the field at any point, but at least Marshall gets beat by the opposition. Cox gets beat by his own incompetence. So, no, as horrifically bad as Marshall is, he's not as bad as Cox. It's a sad testament to how bad Cox was.

Marshall sucks period when he gets beat it isn't even close, Wright had the tougher match up against Thomas and you can see Wright in proximity of the play except there were two plays when he slipped. I also notice Kennean Allen and Brandon Oliver slipping also did these guys have the wrong cleats on for the turf we played on? I never seen Marshall slip but he was consistently getting beat like a drum, this also happen in the KC last game this is the only thing consistent about Marshall's game drum role please and not for a standing ovation.

Marshall is the new Clary. I feel bad for him but I don't want him on my team. Perhaps we can teach him to play offensive guard and he'll stop sucking so bad. Then he'll get hurt, get replaced by somebody worse, and we'll start thinking he wasn't so terrible after all.

No Marshall is Marshall and I don't think you can move him to safety and he would be any better, normally corners who where good and no longer posses the foot speed to be corners make the transition to safety, names like Rod Woodson and Charlse Woodson come to mind and play at a high level. The names mention were very good corners who made the transition.

I think the coaching staff does! Until the light came on for them seeing Marshall getting toasted consistently, then I don't know if it was McCoy or Pageno that said we need to sit this guy! I would of think after the KC game that decision would of came to bench Marshall.

No, I don't think they do. I think their hand has been forced because of injuries to the top 3 guys, and they felt more comfortable with the veteran guy who looked decent at the end of last season over the undrafted rookie who was highly inconsistent in the preseason, but I doubt they are deluded into thinking he is a good CB.
