I think the media would love it if he was, hence the hype...Mahomes being the star he is, a lot of prospects are going to be measured against him in the future.

I’ve been really high on Montez for the past 3 years. This season he didn’t continue to progress but he has a ton of tools.
James Morgan was the standout at the East-West Shrine Game and showed some talent running the ball there as well. The Bolts meet with him there.
Either of these guys day 3 could turn out to be value prospects at QB.

If we decide to forgo QB at #6....which is possible...I wouldn't mind a 5th or 6th spent on James Morgan, to compete with Stick back there in the depth chart...I really liked how he threw the ball a lot.
