I'm not sure what some people think of Allen but I believe he is absolutely on Telesco's radar. Like I said a few weeks ago, the Chargers traditionally meet with the 1st rounder prior to draft. We have only met with a few of what I would call a cluster worthy of #7 and Allen is one of the few. Interestingly we have also met with some that would be in a 15-32 cluster which makes me think trade.

You mean since Telesco has been GM? Before he came on sometimes they never met with who they drafted in the first. I only ask because you said " traditionally". I don't know who they have met with this year.

Looking at this list what names are conspicuously absent?

Williams, Allen, Lamp and Maybe Bolles are only non-QB potential first rounders on that list. The Walter list doesn't seem complete. Adams mentioned he'd talked to Chargers but not listed. Doesn't seem to be any beat writers following, other teams have much more comprehensive lists out. We get 30 official visits and while a good chunk will be priority UDFA's Telesco HAS brought in out first rounder for a visit every year since he's been here

Good luck, I've been scouring the internet. SD media only interested in what team you should support now the Bolts are gone and LA writers not coming down to fortress. I know that Adams has by his own admission met with Bolts and Hooker has not been brought in for visit, yet. Allen has definitely come in to SD for a visit as have several QB's Mahomes, Deshizer. Bolts have had more than one meeting with Lamp and Mahomes.

Not getting my hopes up on Adams. Jets, who pick at 6, apparently told him his pre-draft visit was pretty much a waste of time since he will be off the board before they pick.

Just throwing this out there... a remembrance to the Bosa pick last year.

TT said they had him on their radar for a couple years (I think he said he was their top prospect if he'd come out the year before? Something to that efect.)

So one thing I think when looking at who the chargers will pick... TT isn't big on "one year wonders". Just a thought. I mean, I realize everyone watches all their college play, not just one season.

They (scouts) are watching these guys, particularly the 4 and 5 star recruits from the minute they hit campus. Go to Rivals or Scout or ESPN 300 for college recruiting say 3-4 years ago and the top 20 recruits will look ominously like a 1st round mock this year. You can look at this years recruiting class and probably guess 10-15 of the 1st round picks for 2021 draft.
