Is this correct that our draft possition wont change from #22 even if we make it to teh AFC Championship game, unless we make it to the SB?

Yea i agree with that strategy. And at the back end of the 1st i think that OG is a great value there. Thats why i brought up OG in the first place. Based on where we will be drafting. Id take a Kyle Long type all day long. And if the players in this years draft were in last years draft guys ike Long are probably there in the back of the 1st. Im all for BPA. And i think this year we see the OT/OG types sitting there with value.

A — The winner of the Super Bowl will select last and the other Super Bowl participant next-to-last, regardless of their regular-season record.

B — The Championship Game participants not advancing to the Super Bowl will select 29th and 30th, according to the reverse order of their standing.

C — The Divisional Playoff participants not advancing to the Championship Games will select 25th through 28th, according to the reverse order of their standing.

D — The Wild Card participants not advancing to the Divisional Playoffs will select 21st through 24th, according to the reverse order of their standing.

No, the placement gets reset for the teams leaving the playoffs. This week is now #25 or #26 (if GB wins), next will be #29 or #30, then #31 or #32.

Damn......then i had it backwards. It used to go by record then unless you made the SB. So if we lose next week we will pick 25th or 26th depending on who else has the same or worse record in the playoffs.

Remember the stink that the Chargers had a decent draft pick with an 8-8 record (and playoffs), when New England had the later pick with 11-5 (no playoffs).

My favorite WR in the country not named Watkins/Evans and Lee has declared. Donte Moncrief. Faster version of Allen. Those 2 would make a deadly combo. If we end up going the WR route. I expect him to climb up boards fast.

So, 26th, at best. Guess I'm not going to have to rush home from work to watch the start of the draft on TV (as I was planning to do).

shhh, I was hoping for another 3rd round steal. Moncrief would be a nice fit for this O.

I think he will be one of those climbers this year. Unlike Allen who fell like a rock. I expect Moncrief to put up great numbers at the combine. Im big on routes. And he runs pretty routes.

De'Anthony Thomas of Oregon declared for the draft today. Wouldn't mind picking him up in the middle rounds just to finally have a KR/PR specialist, could also do some work out of the slot if we needed him to.
