There will be a run in the early 2nd round. And Cleveland will pick one at 26. If you want to beat Cleveland and the subsequent run, you have to trade with the Chargers.

No. A good CB will be there at 25. If anything, trade down, not up.

I see that point, but I had Dennard as almost co-#1 CB and he is not getting to us at #25. So I guess it just depends on how TT values him. To me, there is a gap between Dennard and Roby/Verrett.

Could Cinci and KC be darkhorse teams for a QB? If either of them take one, I could see that greasing the wheels for us to trade down. But with Bridgewater and Manziel both available and no blatantly QB needy teams in front of us, I can't see the urgency for a team to trade up (thanks, AZ).

Its the team behind us that will be on pins and needles for the pick.

I just don't see going CB here. I really think there are really, really nice players available to us later. There are some good pass rush options in Ford and Attaochu. Dix is nice. Ward is really nice player. Safety might not be the hugest need with Addae's emergence. But we really don't think first round talents (esp physical players) can't help tighten things up?
