I hope Goodell brings the draft back to April next year. This is way too long for everyone. Will rookies have enough time to learn their role and the playbook?

Here's yet another mock draft. I don't really like the guy they have us taking, especially when either of the next 3 guys fill more of a need, but at least it's different from most of the other mocks out there.

Greg Robinson would do for me.
An O that has Rivers, DJ, Allen, Gates and Mathews.
When you scout Robinson he has the combine numbers and film to show his talent...

Robinson has issues anchoring but hes going to be good. Mack is the most complete D player imo. Watkins on O.

24. Cincinnati Bengals: Ryan Shazier, OLB, Ohio State
Shazier is a disruptive defender capable of wreaking havoc off the edges as a designated pass rusher.

25. San Diego Chargers: Bradley Roby, CB, Ohio State
Roby's recent off-field transgression could plummet his stock on draft day, but the Chargers would have a tough time bypassing a potential lockdown corner.

26. Cleveland Browns: Teddy Bridgewater, QB, Louisville
GM Ray Farmer would be comfortable taking a number of quarterback prospects with this pick. Bridgewater is the most pro-ready of them all, despite his slide on draft boards across the league.

I'd sure like Cleveland to trade up with Cincy to keep the Bolts from trading down with a team wanting a qb. Shazier is my guy in the draft.

Report: Timmy Jernigan had a diluted sample at the Scouting Combine

Timmy Jernigan of Florida State, one of the top defensive tackles in this year’s NFL draft, tested positive for a diluted urine sample when submitting to drug testing at the Scouting Combine, according to Jay Glazer of FOX Sports.

Jernigan is coming off a very good 2013 season in which he was one of Florida State’s top defensive players during their march to the national championship. He has first-round talent.

But this news could affect Jernigan’s draft stock. Jernigan was initially slated to attend the draft, but last week the NFL announced that Jernigan would not attend.

Glazer reports that other players who were on a list given to NFL teams as having failed Combine drug tests in February were LSU defensive tackle Anthony Johnson, University of Miami tackle Seantrel Henderson and Florida State linebackers Telvin Smith and Christian Jones. As we previously reported, LSU quarterback Zach Mettenberger submitted a diluted urine sample, which he attributes to drinking a lot of water to combat dehydration while rehabbing a torn ACL.

UPDATE 8:11 p.m. ET: FOX Sports initially reported that Jernigan had a failed test but later updated that report to say that Jernigan had a diluted sample.

I guess the word isn't out that weed isn't yet totally legal. That's fine, but when you are up for the job interview of your life, and there is a drug test, you shouldn't be toking for at least 3 months before.
