Zach Kerr/DT/Delaware: Shrine practices are an opportunity for small-school players to prove they can play at a big-league level, and that's exactly what Kerr did on Monday. The powerful lineman was explosive and showed a variety of skill. On one play, Kerr annihilated John Urschel of Penn State. Later, he looked fluid moving about the field in pursuit of the action. The ability to clog the gaps as well as make plays behind the line of scrimmage or in lateral pursuit will surely enhance Kerr's draft grade.

Delaware’s Zach Kerr also impressed, especially at the point of attack. The big nose tackle is a guy I had heard good things about coming out (my alma mater) but he certainly showed the part of a talented nose tackle prospect. Winning initially, getting pressure with his hands, and holding his ground well, Kerr will look to build on a good day one.
Like I said " lots of potential "...... But a lot of question marks.....hey if TT hits on the first four picks I wouldn't be against a 5 th round flyer

CBS Sports has him going in the 3-4 round

      Here is what they say:

He looks like a zero-technique who should be a man-eating run stuffer, but is more of an upfield penetrator who is a handful to control as a pass rusher. Ellis is scheme-versatile to play a two-gapping NT role or as a 3-technique who wins with initial burst.

He's 6'1, 335, with massively long arms and a very good initial burst off the line from what I've seen (which is very, very little). Coming from a FBS school he's obviously gonna be a project, but I just like the guy.

I'd be much more comfortable taking him in the 5th.

            NFLDraft’sFastest-Rising Prospect: Indiana’sCodyLatimer

            April 7, 2014 • By Sam Spiegelman

            Mike DiNovo-USA TODAY Sports

Arguably no prospect has skyrocketed up draft boards in recent weeks more than Indiana wide receiver Cody Latimer.

Latimer has visits scheduled with seven teams over the next few weeks, including the Buffalo Bills and Philadelphia Eagles on Monday, the Detroit Lions on Friday, the Oakland Raiders on April 14, then the Seattle Seahawks and San Diego Chargers before the Carolina Panthers on April 24. Latimer has also worked out privately with the Baltimore Ravens.

            7 visits for #Indiana WR Cody Latimer: #Bills, #Eagles Mon, #Lions 4/11, #Raiders 4/14, #Seahawks 4/15, #Chargers 4/16, #Panthers 4/24

One of the busiest prospects in the draft, Latimer did not even crack the top 10 of the XN Sports wide receiver rankings, He began to garner interest at the NFL Scouting Combine. Despite not participating in positional workouts or speed/agility drills due to a foot injury, he grabbed hold of teams’ attention with his bench press reps (23) and vertical jump (39). Teams in need of help at wide receiver such as the New York Jets and San Diego Chargers were well represented.

Originally ranked as a top-25 wide receiver talent with a middle- to late-round draft grade, Latimer is now projected to fall in either the first or second round come May. With an athletic build, Latimer has stood out as a consistent route-runner, the ability to make plays after the catch, and soft hands. He also doesn’t shy away from blocking.

Like a lot of the NFL’s top tight ends, Latimer comes from a high school basketball background. That’s evident by not only his size but his expanded catch radius.

One of the teams set to host Latimer, the Eagles who now have a void at wide receiver after the release of DeSean Jackson, are reportedly keeping tabs on the Indiana standout. Philadelphia picks 22nd in the first round. From a possible fifth-round pick to coming off the board at No. 22 — it’s possible.

The Big Lead’s mock draft has Latimer off the board at 32nd to another one of the teams hosting him for a visit: the Seahawks. The rationale:

The Seahawks lost Golden Tate in free agency. Latimer is a plug-and-play guy and he’s already lined up visits to many teams drafting early in the second round. Strong, fast, and oh, he had a nice game against Mr. Dennard. In two weeks, we’ll talk about Latimer sneaking into the early 20s.

Latimer is generating a lot of hype, and because of quickly he’s climbing up draft boards, teams are considering nabbing him in the second half of the first round. From Day 3 pick to opening night, Latimer is a wide receiver to keep an eye on.

Here's the top players on NFL.com. Who could be there at 25 that is BPA? There are certainly a number of ways to go here. And based on this, Nix won't be BPA. It could be Marquise Lee.

OT Brandon Thomas tore his ACL. Was a projected 2nd round OG. He's the type of player I would take in the 6th for next year. He can slide in and start next year after rehabbing the injury.

Wow, that sucks. I would definitely burn a late round pick and wait a year for him to get healthy.

The 9ers did it last year with Marcus Lattimore. But they burned a 4th for him. Talent rich teams can do that.

We did it with Troutman, and while it takes patience, he is turning into a pretty good OG.

I think it is a pretty good idea. We have limited resources, and we couldn't get a guy that good in the 6th round any other way.
