Wouldn't mind him in the 3rd!

I'm leaning CB 1st (just how I think the draft will fall), DT in the 2nd, OLB in the 3rd, WR in the 4th (just based on how deep the class is, I suspect this will be a value pick). Obviously this is all based on the players being BPA at the time (crosses fingers).

I would predict there is almost no chance he will be around in 3rd. If they want him they would probably have to get him at 25 or trade back into top of 2nd.
      1) Jason Verrett (CB) TCU
      2) Demarcus Lawrence (OLB) Boise St
      3) Will Sutton (DT) Arizona St
      4) Jarvis Landry (WR) LSU
      5) John Urschel (OC) Penn St
      6) Shamar Stephen (DT) UConn
      7) Brock Coyle (ILB) Montana

Just read a NFL.com article about his pro day today and how he looks like a 3rd round pick.

Why do draftniks have Van Noy going as low as the 3rd round?

I think he will be an excellent all around OLB. Happy to get him with our late second. If we got him in the third I would be stoked. It all depends on what is there, and how TT et al have guys grouped, and what we need. I do expect that we draft CB, OLB, DL, and WR in some order. How they have guys clustered is one thing, and how the draft plays out will also influence which position is taken in which round IMO.

I have Van Noy as a 34 ILB or a 43 Joker type OLB. I think hes probably in the 2nd range. Poor mans Julian Peterson type.

They are setting him up to be called a reach.

Jeez, I wouldn't mind the Chargers being that poor.

You can rush the passer from more than one position. If you remember Peterson he lined up in probably 5 different positions at one point. S/MLB/OLB/DE/CB etc. Not often of course but you can find ways to get after the QB. I just think if your looking for a full time position for the guy hes best suited as a ILB for us. Hes a smart player and i bet the staff enjoyed there film study time with him. I think hes one of the guys i just label a football player. I wouldnt mind him in the 2nd but i think in this particular draft we can probably get full time future starters early. WR for sure and even-though im not sold on the CBs after Gilbert and Dennard i do think a solid #2 CB prospect is very important. Ideally i would like to see us have that true shutdown type CB but its not always necessary. I could see us signing one of those elite type CBs when we are sitting on the cash on 2015.

Id draft BPA with an eye on the available cash in 2015. Im wanting to compete this year but wouldn't take a player just because we need them at a position. I feel we are still a team that can take what falls to us other than a couple positions.

Would i be ok with Ebron at 25? I would. lol

I don't think there is a chance he will be there at 25. Would I take him......depends what else is there. But a future pairing of L. Green and Ebron is intriguing,
