Not to say we should pass on better talent to take a positional need, but somehow that's got to be addressed or we'll simply watch a replay of last year.
So I go BPA,which looks more and more like cb/wr.
If TT goes Ealy or Ford, I'd be happy with that too. He's the one with the eye for talent.Last edited by Formula 21; 02-26-2014, 06:13 PM.Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

I think its possible. After Dennard i have most of the CBs rated as 2nd rounders. Some have climbed a bit on my own personal rankings due to faster than expected timed speed but i only do that knowing 40 times usually increase a players draft stock. I still think most of the CBs in this draft are #2 CBs. But theres a lot of them. I feel the same way about the WRs. I think theres a couple elite #1 guys but maybe 10 guys that will make great #2 WRs.
I dont think this draft is particularly great for elite level talent but its absolutely loaded with guys i would generally consider 2nd/3rd rounders. Its a great draft to have multiple picks in the 2-4 round range.

As for OLB prospects, I have concerns about Ealy being a DE and Ford being too small. So I have concerns that a player that fits our front 7 needs will be there.

So say there is not a real drop off in first round tallent untill day two or later, Im pretty sure a few positions like WR, RB, OG, maybe CB have enough tallented player so if your smart you can starters through round three at some positions, but other positions if u need a starter u have to consider the options in round one. Olb, NT, QB, LT. So a plan to get the best value across the draft netting a NT, LT, or OLBr at 25 vs a deeper position.Go Rivers!

Almost think Dennard (who I loved a lot at MSU) profiles more like a Jammer type.
No doubt many will have the top cbs ranked differently.
I think Dennard is the better all around player. Much better against the run imo. He also dosnt have the grabbing issues that Gilbert has. If you watch him play you cans see he gets away with a lot of holds. I dont think he will get away with it in the pros.

But you won't have to share a beer. I'll buy you one and then drink from my own.
