    He's a RT.

Sets up quickly in his back pedal .... can recover without holding if an edge player gets a quick release and has a step.
In my opinion uses his hands well in pass pro, although his hand punch does not jolt rushers.
Tough to bull rush; can redirect himself on inside counters; works at least decently with guards in handing off players and on double teams while keeping his eyes on a swivel.

I'd take him over Alt at #5. I highlighted my concerns about Alt.
If edge rushers only option were to go wide around Alt, i'd choose Alt.

I like Mims too: but yes, he's a risk.

Is anyone scared about the Chargers selecting Latham?

I haven't watched him .... some well respected pundit scared me off by effectively saying the guy's just not very good.

        Dang, that actually sounds realistic!

        Its been discussed.

Chargers get a stale bag of Doritos in the exchange.

Possibly a late 2nd round pick next year in a weaker draft.

          That's probably what you meant.

It eventually shortened his career: he never was dominant like he was that first year.
I remember him blowing up Hall of Famer Richard Seymore on 4rth down in the playoff game at the Murph.

Could be because Marty was replaced by Norf in 2007.... coaching matters.
Yes, McNeill had spinal stenosis. I remember him being 30 yards downfield, still blocking guys off their feet and out of bounds.

In the article EYE looked at, no details of the compensation to the Chargers were listed, other than the 10th overall pick. It's imaginary, after all.

Why is everyone fixated about fixing RT? I mean it isn't like we didn't lose two first round receivers in the off season did we? So were gonna run the ball and not pass? This is a cluster fuck of a different nature I think.

I put him in the trade down to 11 cluster assuming he can handle NFL caliber Edge speed which is my concern with Fuagu as well.

At worst, you can help out an RT.

You can't help out a wide receiver who chronically can't get separation, unless you're running picks for them or your quarterback is always scrambling and giving them new angles to unsuspecting corners.

They then have to actually catch the pass.

I have only a small concern with Fuaga handling edge speed.
I see him getting back on blitzers or edge rushers who perfectly time the snap.

He gets out of his set rapidly and moves his feet.

JC could probably be a pro-bowl caliber G with his size, movement skills, and length hence why we scouted him in person. Should help reinforce the pocket for Herbert.
No brainer if he can be an effective RT a well.

Fuaga is literally begging to be pro coached up with his natural abilities and attitude. Dude would literally go through a wall for Harbaugh.

Would not be mad for either @11.

I like Jeremiah but that will never happen...the jets don't have the draft capital to make that move...

                          2006 League MVP LT:
2007 Playoff loss: 6 yards (hurt)
2008 Playoff loss: 0 yards (hurt)
                          2009 Playoff loss: 24 yards

Not having LT mattered more. Norv did put the fear of God into the Patriots in the 2007 AFC Championship Game, despite numerous injuries to Star players.
