These visits are a lot about that than just being interested in them.

Im thinking Guerendo would be a PS guy.
okay, you don't like him, but PS, really? I think guerendo is going to get drafted, I have him going as high as the 5th round...

I really like Barmore out of Alabama in his draft. Didn't realize he was at the top right of chart. And so many of those names are solid players in the league. Newton and Jenkins would be great additions to the DL. Either of them at #23 or #37.... Or even better both are drafted. BPA at #11.
Who has it better than us?

Not realistic -- the Chargers picks in Rounds 3-7, including adding the Bears 4th doesn't even equal the value of a 2nd round pick.

Might be able to move up in a round using picks in those later rounds to move up in a round but for an outright 2nd rounder - not happening. Might be able to take the two fourth rounders to get a later 3rd but I think I would rather have the two fourth rounders

He probably will get drafted but it isnt unheard of to go to a PS. We drafted Rountree in round 4......he went to the PS on and off. Hec Duke Johnson was on a PS in 2022. Tyler Badie in on the Ravens PS in 2022, Denvers last year...6th rounder. Kennedy Brooks went undrafted, had a lot better, not even close better college career at Oklahoma than Guerendo and on a PS.

          Just saying it happens.

He could make a team, just not sure we draft him...but i could be wrong. He is decent in pass pro which if he wasnt, we wouldnt draft him. Just has trouble staying healthy. Had season ending hamstring injuries twice, then the foot injury.
Hoping we go RB no later than round 4...but someone could fall to early 5.

We need to start thinking about the new kickoff rules.
Guerendo might fit there as one of his roles.

Posters are becoming aware that Nabers vs Alt @ #5 is a photo finish.

Overzealous fans think they know what Jim and Joe are going to do. We can guess basing things on information that is out there. But we don't really know until things play out. There's going to be fans who will be up in their feelings because something didn't go the way they want them to. Harbaugh and Hortiz will probably do more that will upset some fans.

Curious why you would say that. We have DD who was one of if not the best returner last year. He will blow up this year with the new KO rules. He will have a lot of space to run in.

But please...I don't see how anyone could possibly believe that Trey Pipkins is good enough to be our long-term starting right tackle. Deflect all you want by saying this or that website stated Zion and Salyer were worse than Pipkins last season. Zion and Salyer are going into the third season together. Pipkins is going into his sixth season. It's more likely than not we've seen the best of him, which isn't good enough.
And THAT is the key: LONG TERM...we have an out on Pip's deal after this upcoming season...I see him as a backup or stop gap starter...yes, if we are serious about a smash mouth ground game, we need a REAL run blocker, who is also decent in pass pro...having said that, I think RG is a bigger PON, since that's where a lot of the pressure came from last season...but make no mistake, Pip is not the long term solution...

We haven't had a decent run stuffer since like, forever...

Since Pip's contract is up after this year WTF does long term even mean? The real question is whether he stays as our starting RT in 2024 or not.
