    What's that mean?

I'm guessing it means that he believes he can't improve his draft status with whatever it is that he'd do.

If so, then that means he's playing it safe.

And I *get* his logic: "I'm convinced I'm a Top 10 prospect, but one sub-par workout could put me in the 15-20 bracket. Screw it-- I'll go off what's already on tape."

I would think so, personally, but he still gets talked up here.

In advanced settings, change the last 3 to more.

Where the combine really helps a player is when some Sammie Small Schooler goes there, sometimes scores in the top 10 or 5 in a couple drills, then all of a sudden his stock goes up. But an established player in a big time conference already has his tape to speak for itself...plus, there's always the chance of a combine injury...

I get it as well but he isn't a top 10 prospect. Maybe a good workout could get him there. Show some agility, speed. But i understand.

                  Where would you play him?!?

I have NO problem with him as a player, but if Zion and Salyer are your guards and you acquire O'Cyrus, then it's pretty clear that Salyer is seen as a backup.

And he might be an excellent G/T first-off-the-bench guy.

You figure that's what's going on?!? That's the conclusion *I'd* draw if they take him.
I know the beef crowd will explode, but i don’t think you take a G or T in round one you don’t think is going to start. I don’t think you take any player thats not gonna start, except a great QB prospect if you’ve got an aging dying or mediocre QB starting now.

NFL is the NOW FUCKING LEAGUE. Your team doesnt get better with your Rd1 pick sitting on the bench. Forget 5 year plans, nobody is allowed such silliness anymore. Especially TT and BS. TT is already on the 11 year plan, let’s not make it a 16 yr plan. Win it now, bitches!

\Chargers have a good roster, they are not in rebuild mode, they are in win now mode - get a key piece to push you over the top now, not stockpile for tomorrow you may never see.

An elite RB, TE or Edge in round 1 could make an instant impact...

To be honest. I think Quentin Johnson could be our pick at 21. I think he might be there available.

He’s a grown ass man. He’s a faster MDub, but not the twitchy slot/speed burner that would be completely different. He’s a bigger/stronger/ more target area though and long term maybe a better replacement for Slayer. He doesn’t have the evasive shake and wiggle of a Flowers but he’s a 4.4 guy that gets open behind the DBs..

Would he be explosive in the slot? or would they slide Slayer inside for slot routes and put QJ outside opposite Dub? Interesting you think he’ll drop.
