as for superstar backs, I look at jacobs and barkley and I’m thinking neither guy is going to get that big second contract…so why spend first round picks on players you will never consider giving a second deal to? Most any other position folks won’t second guess giving a large extension to if the player pans out, but with RBs? The biggest deal signed this offseason was less than the deal that the chargers gave ekeler 3 years ago…"The author assumes no responsibility or liability for any errors or omissions in the content of this post. I wonder if any running back that goes in round one from now on will go in realizing that his rookie deal might literally be the biggest contract of his NFL life…"The author assumes no responsibility or liability for any errors or omissions in the content of this post. Many will just lurk and read todays action anyways. So i felt that page number would help show the break between our pre draft and actual draft day discussion. Since we are not doing individual draft day threads now outside of our drafted player threads.
Is this ok with you guys? Are we all on the same page with this new format? I want to make sure everyone here is stoked for this draft discussion tonight. Do you prefer we start a new discussion for the general draft? Or is this superthread cool?
