Guyton had a typical year. 25-30 receptions, 3 TDs. That's what he is, a depth player who gets the occasional long ball. Palmer likely I'd our out right #3 next season.

Once again, you really shouldn’t be talking given how you don’t understand Staley’s defensive scheme.

I am not sure what part of Tillery being a starter in our base defense plus playing certain pass rushing reps you are missing. You quote Popper a lot. He gets that point.

not really.... we have 2 really good WR's..... neither of them is considered a complete number one WR (who can do it all)..... the rest of our guys are ok .... we still lack explosive speed and RAC which is best way to take advantage of Herberts strong arm..... our offense was not averaging over 30 points per game so it needs improvement.....

Both Keenan Allen and Mike Williams were top 12 WRs in 2021 - both are very much No. 1 WRs. Palmer was a rookie last season who is poised to break out this year. Guyton is No. 4, and I challenge you to find a better No. 4 WR on any roster in the NFL. DeAndre Carter adds more depth. You can't have a depth chart full of No. 1 WRs. The Chargers' WR corps is as deep as it gets in the NFL. You also have to figure in that the No. 3 WR in this offense is really Austin Ekeler, and, on top of that, the TE corps is deep in good receiving TEs. All together, the Chargers have one of the deepest, if not the deepest, receiving corps in the league. The fact that the Chargers had the 2nd best passing offense in the NFL is proof of this. It was better than the Bengals or the Chiefs.
