SCOUTING REPORT: SUMMARY

Reviews for Salyer are all over the board where scouts have pegged him as high as the first to low as the fourth round in the 2022 NFL Draft. The low grades on him are mainly due to him being regarded as an injury risk - although none of them are serious and he's likely just been a victim of bad luck.
We see him as a low second-round pick who has sky-high athletic talent but just hasn't quite managed to achieve what we would have hoped. Still, he could very easily become a dominator at the next level if he were put it all together.

Guard depth who can develop behind Feiler and Zion.

I believe with all of the Edge being drafted that TT is content to pick up a loose veteran after June 1st.

Another late round DT seemed a little reduntant...could have had a generational punter. First Staley pick i'm really pissed about. Inexcusable.

Nah, I’m fine with another DT for rotational purposes given our run defense issues last year. Staley obviously felt DL was the main culprit over something like LB. And why draft a punter if we don’t plan on punting this year? Lol
