I wanted him too but we signed a punter already that they like AND DL was a need. In Staley I trust.

also the fact that the Chargers rarely punt because of how good the offense is and how Staley loves to go for it on 4th down..... why draft a future HOF punter if the goal is to never use him? lol

A little bummed on not getting Araiza. But the two picks are good so far

For me, it has been a very frustrating draft. I liked OL in round 1 and RB in round 4, but preferred different players in each round. Not a huge deal.

But we just flat out blew our pick in round 3. We missed an opportunity to trade into pick #75, which was on the trading block, and selecting Travis Jones. Some reasoned that maybe we just did not want a DL player, but the Ogbonnia pick later shows we did.

And because we missed Travis Jones, instead of taking Araiza in round 5, we took a very much lesser DL player in Ogbonnia.

Even assuming the Johnson and Spiller picks, I would have much preferred Johnson, Travis Jones, Spiller and Araiza to what we actually have.

I hope this all works out for us, but I think we have made some significant mistakes in this draft.

Someone needs to tell the Chargers war room, that they have extra picks and it's OKAY to move up a few spots to get a player they like.

Yep...and I wouldn't mind moving up RIGHT before the Raiders pick...
