I like him Ghost....he's more Ekeler like. He seems to run by everyone with ease in those highlights.
I thought he looked a bit stiff, but so does Ekeler on first glance.
I would have never figured he was 205 #.... he showed some power and some elusiveness.
I looked at his 40 time at his pro day and it was 4.5 seconds: he seems faster and reportedly ran a 4.35 in high school
I think staying at 17 is the right way to go this year.
See, for example, the last Zierlein mock.
At 17, you have the choice between T. Penning, K. Green and J. Davis.
I wouldn't move from there !
I’m all for stayed my at 17. But, if Booth, Penning, Green, and Davis are available when we’re on the clock, why not trade down three-five spots and take whoever is left? We get a needed talent plus a needed pick. Pitt wants a QB, and NE and GB need WRs. Those four guys above would be safe, or worst case we take a top WR then we still have an extra high pick. (also okay with me if Vato is #5 CB…)

I really, really, really want to put the exclamation point on this defense ~ @ #17 !!!!!!!!!!
In an article I read recently, it detailed how one of Les Snead's biggest regrets was trading down a few spots in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft so he could gain an extra fourth-round pick. He thought he could still get the player he wanted, Bobby Wagner, after trading down, but the Seahawks ended up stealing him. If Les had just stayed where he was, he would have had an eight-time All-Pro linebacker and future Hall of Famer for the last ten years--playing in back of Aaron Donald since 2014. The fourth-round pick he gained led to nobody.
Something to keep in mind at #17 for us this year. If Telesco really, really likes a certain player, he should just stay at #17 and take him, no matter what anyone else thinks.
But what about trenchers4life?!?We have to shore up the right side and protect the franchise Wood.
The Slater level plug n play types will be gone. I would not go for the clean Guard prospect Zion. The value at #17 would be EDGE or DB. The round three IOL pool will be excellent.
The right side solution will involve Jaimes, Pipkins and maybe Feiler. Someone is going to cut a vet ORT, guaranteed. Sign him and count on better results than Bulaga.
In spite of the strong urge to try and fix ORT at #17 or #79, I must candidly say question marks abound. My guess is LAC will wait and see if Pipkins takes to Manyweather's private tutelage or not.
