I don't know. Maybe Pitt or AZ, maybe Dallas but I really wouldn't want to go below 25. We would be passing up on some good players.
We can get an extra 3rd from Pitt or possibly a 2nd from AZ but I realize we need a trade partner. No guarantee that those teams want to trade up.

I like this one a lot, only thing I would change to Malone in the 4rth, but I’d be very happy if the draft turned out like this for the Chargers.

I like Lucas in the third. He may even be worth our first. He's a good pass blocker and that's what we need.

I don’t think Lucas drops to the third. But if he did, that should be the pick in the 79th pick.

Let’s hope not. He’s a stud. Add him to this defense and watch out. I generally lean towards going offense in the first round (O-line or WR) or D-line, but if Hamilton is there I don’t see any more conversation or discussion. Hamilton is a game changer. Think of having another queen of the chess board like Derwin. He’s a little different than Derwin, but would be a hell of an addition to our defense.

Why isn’t anyone talking about quentin lake from UCLA, everytime I watched a bruins game last season he stood out to me. Was all over the field sideline to sideline pass break ups and run support he was smacking people and forcing turnovers. I don’t understand why most everyone has him as a late round pick. His size and athletic scores are top 15 at safety position but he has intangibles much like asante samuel and patrick surtain 2. He’s the son of former steeler carnell lake. Somebody is going to get a steal in day three.

The Packers really need WRs. Let's say Jameson Williams or Chris Olave are still on the board at No. 17, one of them has already been taken and the Packers don't want to lose out on the other one. But they don't want to risk waiting until their first pick, at No. 22, the pick they got from the Raiders, for fear of losing out to a team drafting 18-21. Let's say the Packers offer a deal to the Chargers to trade up five spots and offer the No. 22 pick and another pick(s). What would that other pick(s) be? Or would you rather draft Williams or Olave if one of them is available at No. 17?

What does Coach Staley need on his defense most? An EDGE or LB who can cover? It was said during the season that Derwin James is playing five different positions, and we all smiled, slapped each other on the back and lauded our great fortune on landing a special player; when we should have been saying 'that's terrible, let's get Derwin James some help'.

I made the argument for Lewis Cine and I believe the same argument can be made into relation to S Kyle Hamilton. It's a force multiplier as it frees up Derwin to be Derwin, it lets Derwin perform, and god forbid, the TE coverage doesn't go to shit when Derwin is out of the game, as he was in the second game against KC. Kelce is a problem, as is Darren Waller, Now, with Josh Daniels' dink-pass offense coming to the division, I believe you need to address the team's ability to cover TEs and RBs, whether you believe that's in the form of a LB or a S is up to the individual.

But maybe Ken Murray II is that guy, or perhaps Mark Webb is.

Anytime I see name playing at an alma mater, my immediate interest goes through the roof. Think of it as 'the family business' and the Belichicks, the Shula Family, the Shanahan Family, the Clay Matthews Family would agree with you.

To wit, did you see Tony Sparano Jr. is coaching offensive line assistant for the Giants? The family business.

Smart thing would be is to get one of their seconds and upgrade from our third rounder to mid second rounder(53). The other option is we get their 3rd, 4th, and 5th rounder and we keep our third rounder.

I like lucas more than penning but I hate the thought of this team rolling the dice with another rookie OT and expecting similar results. I’d prefer them to trade down and pick up Lucas plus draft picks over drafting penning at #17. But I’m still not convinced Lucas is the guy I want protecting my franchise QB in the middle of a superbowl run.
