I’d also say the probability of drafting an OT at #17 increased. Of course that move would be a no brainer if one of the elite tackle prospects fell, otherwise the guy that makes sense at 17 is Penning, possibly Raimann (tho I don’t see it). That being said, it’s a deep OT draft and TT might be planning to nab the best one in the 3rd, maybe using one of those later round picks to maneuver a few spots.
We’ll have to wait for the rest of FA to narrow it down further.
IMO, there’s too many starter-level FA CBs available to not take a swing at one. I’d expect it. But if we don’t, I like the first round CB prospects that could be available at #17.
Another good question is, will we re-sign White? If not, LB could be on the table at 17. Lloyd or Dean are the candidates.
What about Nwosu? Even with the Mack trade, I wouldn’t rule out edge at 17 if there was a BPA for the taking.
Long story short, the draft is still wide open, but Jordan Davis looks more interesting now.Our quarterback is a golden god.

Your guy Walker remains the perfect pick, and who knows, maybe he drops like Derwin did.
I am now thinking mid round for an athletic type ORT, Diesch, Tom, Volson...whoever, when the value happens.Get comfortable with being uncomfortable.

The Jordan Davis pick is intriguing for a few reasons, but one of the biggest is that he fits on a team with Tillery. Davis, as a run-stuffing two down IDL, would allow Tillery to sub in as a 3rd down/passing down specialist. I’ve been saying for a long time that that’s Tillery’s highest potential. Davis and Tillery dovetail together. Our quarterback is a golden god.

Im off Edge in the first this year....you put Rumph and maybe another mid rounder behind our 2 monsters to provide depth and learn....I want my first round pick playing a lot of snaps, especially lacking another potential starter from the second round. DT, CB, LB should be the pick...jmo
Davis, Wyatt, Mcduffie, Dean, Lloyd, Mcreary, Gardner....I would personally entertain Travis Jones there.
Not that Im gonna throw the remote if we pick Walker, JJ, or Karlaftis...just would rather get someone with the likelyhood of significant playing time.Adopted Bolt: Scott Matlock
Final prediction: Latham OT, Colson LB, Sainristil CB,Rice WR, Zinter OG, Nourzad OC, MacLachlan TE, Vidal RB, Lovett DT
