Kicker Jake Seibert is the latest Buckeye pledge to be named to the Hawaii based bowl. As we roll into the middle part of July, we can almost taste the football season. Later this week, Big Ten Media Days will take place in Chicago. While that’ll take up a little bit of time from Ryan Day, the Ohio State Buckeyes are in a good place on the recruiting trail. Currently, the Bucks are No. 4 in the 247sports class rankings for 2020, and there may be even more additions to the class before the end of summer. Over the weekend, they got some good news (and potentially some bad news) on the recruiting front. Let’s start with the good. A big accolade Ohio is a talent rich state. That talent was flexed once again over the weekend as kicker Jake Seibert was named to the Polynesian Bowl. Seibert comes out of La Salle (Cincinnati) and is considered by 247sports to be the No. 2 kicker in the 2020 cycle.
